Disable Layer Mask command The "Disable Layer Mask" command lets you turn off a layer mask temporarily, rather than delete it.

To enable the disabled mask, apply the "Enable Layer Mask" command. Or hold down [Shift] key and click the mask thumbnail in the Layers palette (screenshot).

Click mask thumbnail to enable layer mask
